James R. Duby, Jr. is an attorney and founder of the Duby Law Firm with its office in East Lansing Michigan. His primary areas of expertise are intellectual property law, including, trademark, copyright, trade secret, internet and international intellectual property law, domain name disputes, promotion marketing law, corporate law, business formations and transactions, and secured transactions.
Mr. Duby received his B.S. in Business Administration Cum Laude from Youngstown State University in 1985. Thereafter he attended the University of Akron School of Law, where he received his law degree, Cum Laude, in 1989. Prior to and during law school, Mr. Duby worked as a Budget and Cost Accountant for the Western Reserve Care System and as a summer intern in the tax department of Ernst & Young’s Cleveland, Ohio office.
